Built by St. Louis Car in 1960 as a 45 seat coach for the Union Pacific Railroad and numbered 5501. Conveyed to Amtrak in 1971 and numbered 4561. Converted to Head-End Power from Steam Heat in November 1979 and renumbered 4623. Retired in June 2002 and eventually purchased by the State of North Carolina. Refurbished by the Delaware Car Company for the NCDOT and renumbered 400014 and named "Sweet Potato".
