Built by Bombardier as a 76 seat coach in 1989 and numbered 54061. Converted to a 68 seat ADA coach in July 1996 and renumbered 54561. This coach has the distinction of being the very first Amtrak coach I ever rode in on my very first Amtrak trip on July 23rd, 1996! This was the only photo I took of the train that morning after arriving in Sandusky. Historical information about this car provided by www.amtrakbythenumbers.com. |
