Built by Budd as a 48 Seat Coach for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway, numbered 2843 and equipped with steam-ejector air conditioning. Conveyed to Amtrak in 1971 and numbered 4855. Converted to Head-End Power from Steam Heat in April 1980 and renumbered 4723. Converted to a baggage car in September 1996 and renumbered 1713. Converted to a mail-only car in April 2000 and renumbered 1750. Even after the mail-only conversion, the car would continue to just be used as a baggage car.
