Built by Pullman-Standard in 1949-1950 as a lounge car for the Southern Railway's famous "Southern Crescent". The car was taken out of service in 1979 when the Southern Railway ended its own passenger service and turned it over to Amtrak, though this particular car never went to Amtrak. Restored by the Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society and Museum adn currently uses reporting marks "WATX 2351".
