* Algoma Central Train No. 1 will, when notified, wait a maximum of 20 minutes at Oba for revenue passengers from CNR Train No. 4.
Baggage consists of wearing apparel, toilet articles and similar effects for actual use, and necessary and appropriate for the wear, use, comfort and convenience of the passenger, for the purpose of the journey and not intended for other persons or for sale. One hundred and fifty (150) lbs. baggage, not exceeding $100.00 in value will be checked without charge, for each adult passenger, and seventy-five (75) lbs., not exceeding $50.00 in value for each child travelling on a half ticket. Baggage exceeding the foregoing will be charged for at tariff rates. Carriers do not guarantee to forward baggage on same train as passenger, nor by any particular train. Carriers are not liable in respect of, or consequent upon, loss or damage or delay to any personal baggage for any amount in excess of te foregoing value limitation unless greater values are declared and extra charges paid at time checked.
A single piece of baggage weighing over 250 lbs. will not be checked.
Each piece of baggage should be plainly marked with owner's name and address, or initials on outside, and at time of checking note should be made of check number as means of identification should check be lost.
It is unlawful to carry dangerous articles such as gasoline, matches, gun-powder, cartridges, fireworks, etc. in baggage.
Baggage for Flag Stations where Agents are not on duty must be claimed at baggage car door immediately on arrival. Baggage from Flag Stations will be accepted and checked by train baggageman on request of passenger, but will not be checked beyond our line.
Ticket should be purchased and baggage presented at baggage room in sufficient time prior to departure of train to permit of the proper recording, weighing, or measuring, and the issuing of the necessary checks for the same.
HAND BAGGAGE - Passengers are only entitled to take into the cars with them a reasonable quantity of hand baggage.
