We celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Susquehanna Valley Chapter, NRHS with an all day multi-media event.
Several local railroad photographers presented programs showcasing the last 50 years of railroad history.
Programs ran from 9am until 4pm with a break for lunch (included with the price of admission). Then in the
evening we celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a banquet. Richard J. Allen, Sr. (author of the recently released
book Trackside around Binghamton 1960-1976) was our featured speaker. For more detailed information
see 50th Anniversary Celebration!
