Railroad Historical Society to meet. The Ravenna Railroad Historical Society will hold an organizational dinner/meeting at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Kentwood Restaurant, 1910 State Route 59 in Kent.
Discussion will center on the organization of the society, preservation of railroad artifacts in and around Ravenna, and a display of railroad memorabilia.
Conrail employee Dave Mangold will present a slideshow about Ravenna area railroad history.
