John reported on the trip to Perryville November 11 on MARC. Previous trips to Perryville were November 2008, June 2006 and August 2004.
Bill reminded attendees about the December holiday social, and that membership meetings will shift to the second Tuesday of the month for the first half of 2011.

Members approved a $1,250 campaign to match member contributions for the Ma&Pa Railway Preservation Societys efforts to restore Locomotive 82 to operating condition. Chapter will match member contributions dollar for dollar up to the $1,250 total. The deadline is the end of August.

Officers announced that the chapter banquet is scheduled for March 20 at the Amphora Restaurant in Herndon. The banquet will celebrate the chapter's 40th anniversary. Paul Dolkos, the chapter's first president, will be the speaker. Charter members will be invited to attend for free.
Rick Davidson reported on the most recent national directors meeting.
Bill announced that the chapter plans to hold a digital photo contest this spring, in lieu of the slide contest. The chapter may hold a slide contest in the fall.
