Featured speakerTom Nemeth Tom will discuss talk about the last days of the Milwaukee Road, which operated until 1986 when it was merged into the Soo Line. The Miwaukee Road entered bankruptcy in 1977. As part of its restructuring, the railroad abandoned its Pacific Extension through the states of Montana, Idaho, and Washington in 1980.
