scanner
The scanner frequencies listed below are monitored from a point 10 miles
south of Manassas, VA., and are known to be in use as of June 2000.
Amtrak, VRE, and MARC use the frequencies of the host railroads that they
operate over.
The NS Administrative Radio Network (ARN) channels operate the same as
PBX channels on other railroads, allowing railroad personnel to originate
telephone calls on either the internal company or the public telephone
networks.
