The Delaware Valley Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society was chartered in 1970 as the New Hope Chapter by the volunteers operating the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad. As membership grew, the chapter moved to Yardley, Pennsylvania and changed its name to the Delaware Valley Chapter. Another move brought the chapter to its current location in Morrisville, Pennsylvania. The chapter meets on the third Friday of each month except for July, August, and December at 7:30 p.m. in the Morrisville Public Library at 300 N. Pennsylvania Avenue.
