Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge

The road from Dresden, OH to Phoenix, AZ passes within 100 miles of Durango, Colorado. Easily close enough to warrant a slight detour. The old Denver and Rio Grande Western's road to Silverton is one of the most spectacular lines in the country. It's a safe bet that the slim tracks of southwestern Colorado will beckon me to them again soon.
