To increase ridership, the Capitol Corridor needs more bi-level rolling stock.

Sacramento is the 7th busiest station in the nation and high speed rail will make it even busier.

Ridership is expected to double in the next 10 years (118%), with revenue increases of 155%.

Wireless Internet is planned for riders on the San Joaquins, Capital Corridors and Surfliners.

Hand held ticket readers/printers of seat check onboard and ability to print tickets at home.

Mr. Kutrosky credited Mike Ing, Southern California,  for helping the Public Transportation Account by getting a diesel fuel tax increase from 4.75% to 6.5%
